This course looks at the Ancient Greeks. We will study their beginnings and spread as a civilisation with a focus on the two great cities of the civilisation; Athens and Sparta. We will marvel as these two cities (and their friends) stop the most powerful empire in the world from defeating them and commiserate as they are then torn apart by civil war!
