This course uses the ‘Big Six’ world religions (the six most popular religions in the world today) to build understanding of religious belief and practice in contemporary Britain. We will also use each religion to understand world geography as we see the spread of each religion from its birthplace to the UK and world history from the time of Abraham (Ibraheem), the Hijrah, the reign of Asoka in India and the life of Guru Nanak amongst other massive world history events.
