Energy is big news and makes big money. In the modern Western world, we need energy in huge amounts to keep us heated, mobile and connected. This course looks at some of the main types of fuel we use – where does it come from? How do we extract it? How do we use it to create the electricity or power that we need? We go on a journey from coal mines to wind farms, Chernobyl to the Three Gorges Dam.
