The early 19th century was the beginning of a great migration from the East to the West of the continent. This course will follow a range of settler who travelled from East to West for different reasons. From the bold Mountain Men and the plucky farmers who would follow the Oregon Trail to the sadder story of Native Americans forced out of their homes in the East and the extraordinary tale of the Mormon migration, this course will travel West with them all.
