This is the first in a series of courses that will focus on interactions between Britain and India. We will focus mainly on Britain in this one, with a really deep dive into James I, the first king of Scotland and England. From witchcraft to the gunpowder plot, there are plenty of exciting events to see. We’ll also use him as the lens through which to view the diplomatic relations between him and the Mughal Empire (the focus of the next History course).
